Mental Health Awareness Week 2019

This year, Mental Health Awareness Week runs from 13th May until 20th May. Hosted by the Mental Health Foundation, the theme for 2019 is Body Image - how we think and feel about our bodies.

Body image issues can affect all of us at any age - read all about why this theme was chosen, how it links closely to our mental health and why body image matters so much to us all.

The Adur & Worthing Wellbeing team are taking part in an hour long Mindful Walk on Tuesday 14th May to a local park where they will participate in a Mindfulness session led by an instructor from Sustainable Mind. Here are some great tips on how to look after your mental health using exercise - it really can be beneficial to you mentally as well as physically.

Collect your FREE wellness box and take part in crafts and more in Coastal West Sussex MIND's event at Colonnade House, Worthing. The event runs from 14th to 19th May from 10.30am to 3.30pm at Colonnade House, Warwick Street in Worthing. Their motto this year is 'human kindness for open mindness - open mindness to human kindness. All are welcome and all is FREE!
