Durrington community cycle project
Durrington Community Cycle Project (DCCP), based at Pond Lane Recreation Ground in Durrington, was set up to provide and maintain a fully equipped cycle workshop for free use by the community with the support of volunteer skilled mechanics.
They offer the young, unemployed and low-income participants, as well as the wider community, access to free use of fully-equipped donated bicycles as a means of sustainable transport. They seek out and recycle bikes/parts too so are always on the lookout for bike donations. They also repair donated bikes and offer them for sale to the community at reasonable prices to fund their project.
