Get Active @ Home

Online exercise tutorials

Adur & Worthing Wellbeing have developed a series of instructor led online exercise tutorials for you to follow in the comfort of your own home.

The online tutorial consists of a mix of aerobic and core strength exercises to support your journey to becoming more active.

There are exercises to tone your abs, raise your heart rate, and tackle those bingo wings and much more.

All exercises are adaptable and the instructor demonstrates easier and harder versions to suit individual need.

It is recommended, however, that if you have any injuries or health conditions that may prevent you from exercising, you should consult your GP before taking part.

The Get Active@Home videos can be found on the Adur & Worthing Councils' YouTube channel (new window).

Keeping active and healthy

All of these exercise routines count towards the Government's recommended weekly physical activity guidelines, see the NHS website

Regular exercise has been proven to help you to reduce the risk of chronic illnesses such as heart disease, Type 2 diabetes and stroke.

Research shows that physical activity can also boost self-esteem, mood, sleep quality and energy.
