UKHarvest are the 'superheroes for surplus food'! They collect quality, surplus food from a variety of retailers/producers (e.g. supermarkets, hotels, farmers, and restaurants) and deliver it, direct and free of charge, to charities that can make use of it to support those in need, preventing it from going to landfill.

NourishEd programme

UKHarvest work in partnership with Adur and Worthing Wellbeing Team to deliver a variety of community-based programmes and events called NourishEd. Their cookery teachers offer individuals and families practical support to develop cookery skills and prepare healthy, balanced meals. They also incorporating discussions around nutrition, food waste and eating seasonally - whilst having a lot of fun at the same time!
