Recycling reminder
With Christmas fast approaching please remember to recycle all that extra packaging that comes at this time of year.
The three simple rules to successful recycling are, keep it CLEAN, DRY and LOOSE. Follow them and you’ll be contributing to increasing the amount we recycle in West Sussex.
- CLEAN - free from food and drink leftovers - a quick rinse will usually do.
- DRY - keep your recycling bin lid shut – soggy paper and cardboard can’t be recycled, cause other items to stick to them i.e. broken glass, and can clog up machinery when sorted.
- LOOSE – not tied up in plastic bags.
