Carer's respite services provided by Guild Care
The Bradbury Wellbeing Centre is a dementia-specialist day centre that enables people with dementia to continue to live well in the community and is invaluable to carers, with specialist respite care, advice, and guidance that reassures them that their loved one is in safe hands. Its facilities offer a wide range of activities.
Dementia day breaks
For people over 50 with a memory/ cognitive impairment or a diagnosis of dementia who can enjoy a wide range of activities including outings, art, music and hairdressing and assisted bathing facilities on site.
Stay active service
A new respite service for people living with dementia - of any age - and their carers. This service is for people who still enjoy being social and active and relatively mobile. Carers will be able to relax knowing their loved ones are well cared for. Call 01903 240313 or email Abbeyfield Ferring.
Time out for carers
Provides a safe, stimulating and caring environment for people living with dementia that gives much needed break knowing that the person they care for is enjoying the company of others.
Time out together
This offers carers and the person they care for the opportunity to enjoy a social evening in a relaxed environment with entertainment, discussion and light refreshments and more.
